After Surgery

After surgery you will be in our recovery room under the care of specialty trained nurses. You will be monitored by the nurse and the anesthesiologist until you are ready for discharge.

The responsible adult accompanying you will be called back to the recovery room to see you and go over discharge instructions.

Written discharge instructions and any prescriptions will be given to you and the responsible adult. Since you will have undergone anesthesia, you may not remember these instructions.
