Before Surgery

Once you are scheduled for your procedure at the Surgery Center of Naples, the surgeon’s office will give you an envelope that has our pre-operative instructions.

You must first register online at:
www.onemedicalpassport.com

There you will fill out your health history for our anesthesia team to review. A reminder will be sent via text or email.

You will receive a text message the day before your surgery after 3pm with your arrival time for the surgery and the pre-operative instructions. These instructions will advise you as to what time you are to stop eating and drinking prior to surgery. This includes water and chewing gum. Be sure to follow these instructions completely to avoid having your surgery postponed.

Please arrange for a responsible adult to drive you home and stay with you for the first 24hrs after your surgery. You will NOT be allowed to drive yourself home or leave in a taxi. If no one is available to stay with you, your surgery will be rescheduled.
