Day of Surgery

On the day of your surgery, please have nothing to eat 8 hours prior to your arrival time.  You may take your normal morning meds with a small sip of water.

You may NOT HAVE ANYTHING BY MOUTH up to two hours before your arrival.

A family member or friend must accompany you from Surgery Center of Naples after Discharge. YOU MAY NOT DRIVE AFTER SURGERY.  A responsible party will need to stay with you for 24 hours after the surgery. You may not stay alone.

Please take a shower or bath the day of the procedure.  Remove all make-up and body piercings. Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to get into after your surgery.

All valuables (cash, jewelry, watches) should be left at home. (unless you are required to make a payment)

Contact lenses may not be worn during surgery. Please bring your eyeglass case with you. Young children may bring a favorite toy or blanket.
